Prayer Request

Much of our prayer in the Church of England is corporate, that is to say we do it together in our services in Church. Yet there is another side to our prayer life, our own individual prayers, as we try to share in Christ's prayer to his Father, that his will be done, his kingdom come.

You don't need to be a Minister to pray - you don't even have to know any prayers at all - in fact, words can often get in the way. Picture Jesus, and then say what is in your heart, what you feel.

There are many resources available to help you to pray. This link will take you to the Church of England web site which has some useful help and advice.

We also use our church services to pray specifically in response to people that have asked us to pray. Some of our churches have prayer request boards, where you can pin up a prayer request. Althernatively, you can use the form below as a request for prayer. The box requesting your name can be left blank, but we do ask that you supply an email contact so that we can confirm that you prayer request has been dealt with. Alternativley, especially if your prayer request is urgent, please contact one of the Benefice Clergy.
